Ideas for Supporting the Japanese Community in Boston
With Speaker Satoko "Lisa" Watanabe
This month's Brown Bag Luncheon Series, hosted by The Japan Society of Boston, explores ways in which Boston can support its Japanese community.
In 2010, experienced social worker Lisa Watanabe established a help-line for Japanese-speaking people around Boston. In the succeeding years, Lisa (MSW, LICSW) has learned volumes about the wide range of challenges faced by our Japanese friends and neighbors. The NPO Lisa founded (JB Line) has grown to more than 15 professionals and 100 volunteers who support the physical and mental well-being of the Japanese community.
Join us to discuss ideas with Lisa about supporting your Japanese friends around Boston.
