CIC was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1999 in Kendall Square, and has since become a well-established critical mass of thriving innovative companies. CIC Cambridge operates out of two buildings in the heart of Kendall Square and houses the largest number of startups in one location in the world. Dozens of successful companies have grown to prominence while housed at CIC, including Hubspot, MassChallenge, GreatPoint Energy and Android. CIC Cambridge's One Broadway location is home to more than $7 billion of venture capital, putting this single CIC location ahead of many nations in terms of total venture capital.
The Venture Cafe Foundation is a 501 c3 non-profit organization with a mission to broaden, connect and support an inclusive community through a public network of spaces and programs to help anyone with an idea have the opportunity to succeed. Its programs include District Hall, a civic innovation center with event and collaboration space, and the Roxbury Innovation Center, an urban neighborhood focused innovation space. It also hosts Venture Café Kendall a weekly gathering for fresh and useful conversations for the Boston entrepreneurial and innovation communities. Venture Café Kendall is held at CIC Cambridge every Thursday from 3–8 p.m. The Venture Café Foundation’s StartHub program is the most comprehensive online resource center for the Greater Boston innovation community. The Foundation was founded, incubated and then spun out by CIC.
C3 - Cambridge Coworking Community
C3 is for startups, freelancers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs who want the "power of community" to work for them. Located in the heart of Kendall square at CIC, C3 is a place where the entrepreneurial vibe is strong, professional, and supportive. C3 is an affordable place to work, to meet colleagues, and to get to know other like-minded professionals in the Boston/Cambridge area.
A 28,000 square-foot facility located down the road from CIC Cambridge, LabCentral is a first-of-its-kind shared laboratory space designed as a launchpad for high-potential life-sciences and biotech startups. It offers fully permitted laboratory and office space for as many as 25 startups comprising approximately 100 scientists and entrepreneurs.
CIC is located on multiple floors at One Broadway, as well as on the 14th and 15th floors at 101 Main. Both buildings are very close to the Cambridge Marriott Hotel and the Kendall Square MBTA subway station. The main reception for CIC, including C3 and C4, is on the 14th floor at One Broadway and also on the 14th floor at 101 Main.
Take the Red Line to the Kendall Square/MIT stop. Exit the T and turn until you are facing the Longfellow Bridge. Walk toward the bridge and look to your left. One Broadway is the tall, gray cement building with vertical windows. Our main reception is on the 14th floor. 101 Main is a little closer to the bridge; it is a large red brick building. Reception is on the 14th floor.

101 Main: Monthly parking can be accessed at the end of the building farthest from the Charles River. Reception is on the 14th floor.
Visitor parking is also available at the Kendall St garage and at the Marriott Hotel garage.
