Boston Gay Software Developers Meetup

March 16 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

This is a special joint meetup of Boston Gay Software Developers and Boston Queer Tech Collective, a group working to provide “space for homeless LGBTQ-identified youth to explore basic vocational training and exposure to concepts of programming, IT, and other technology-centric skills,” and organized by John, one of our members.

Since this is an informational session (in additional to our normal meetup), anyone interested in contributing, providing feedback, or wanting to learn more should try to attend. That includes anyone interested in helping with organization, teaching, or any other administrative domain, and anyone interested in participating in the program as a student. A mailing list is available on Google Groups as boston-queer-tech-collective.

To those of you who work with homeless queer youth, please let them know that they are invited and there will be a separate part of the room for them to discuss feedback that they have around how they want to see the group shaped.

Pizza and soft drinks will be served.

Please try to RSVP at least a day ahead.
